FEM-ship: Female Entrepreneurship & Leadership

Lernziel:
Active participation for the Studium Generale elective. The module will be offered as an elective for both Bachelor and Master level students. The exam requirements will differ. BA students can obtain 3 EC for the module by fulfilling a seminar contribution (P/F). MA students can obtain 5 EC for the module by fulfilling a seminar contribution (50%) and completing a project presentation (50%) (P/F). Only Master level students can take part in the 5 EC version of the module.

Module Contents in short:
This module introduces the fields of Entrepreneurship and Leadership as these are relevant to female founders and/or leaders working in Germany. It combines theoretical foundations, analysis of structural barriers, strategy development and practical empowerment skills to offer a research based introduction to the related topics of entrepreneurship and leadership as these are relevant to the female professional.

Topic 2: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Topic 3: Leadership Theories and Skills
Topic 4: Strategic Networking for Females
Topic 5: Communication and Gender Dynamics
Topic 6: Negotiation for Female Leaders and Entrepreneurs
Topic 7: Impression Management and Personal Branding
Topic 8: Presenting, Pitching, and Persuasive Communication
Topic 9: Vision and Strategy for Female Leaders and Entrepreneurs
