Lernziel:
In this practical seminar, international students explore key aspects
of German work culture. They reflect on their own cultural influences, learn about typical values, norms, and communication patterns in everyday German working life, and develop confidence in dealing with misunderstandings, feedback, and hierarchies. The focus is on specific situations from their studies, internships, and career entry.

Inhalt:
•Develop intercultural competence and reflect on your own cultural influences
•Understand key values, norms, and expectations in German work culture
•Communicate confidently in everyday German working life (e.g., feedback, meetings, and email etiquette)
•Classify hierarchies, formality, and working methods and deal with them appropriately
•Develop strategies for dealing constructively with cultural misunderstandings and conflicts
